I know, this is a new low, even for me! But I have had enough with the extra weight and can’t wait to get rid of it. If I am to be honest with myself, I’m kind of expecting a miracle :) This is actually the first time in my life that I will be going on a diet, I’m pretty sure it will be easy, but we’ll see…
If anyone’s interested, this is my source for info on the diet and the recipe:

On another note, what’s with all the gadgets that are out there in the market! I have always had a soft spot for electronic gizmos, I’m very thankful for the ounce of self control that I have that stops me from getting every concoction out there as soon as it’s released! In another life, I would be one of those people who own every single electronic device that was ever invented :)
I fell in love with the Mac Airbook and I wanted to buy it as soon as I discovered its existence, never mind you that it actually does not have a built in CD drive I actually debated with myself on how much I actually need a built in CD drive, I don’t use it that much anyway, all I want is a laptop that looks cool, light to carry and can fit in most of my bags. Naturally, I would need a new laptop bag for (yes, although it would fit in most of my bags but a new gizmo deserves a new bag!) I also convinced myself that it’s a must have because I would be able to use it whenever I’m out in a cafe or at a friend’s (just a note that I have never ever had the remotest need to use my laptop at a friends, and i barley -i.e. never- work outside the office or the comfort of my home. Needless to say I did not get an Airbook -well not yet!
My latest discovery: Chumby. don’t be discouraged by the name- it had no appeal to me, but I loved the idea, I have already convinced myself that electronic photo frames are one great invention, and now I want a Chumby :)
Just in case you’re wondering what a Chumby is, here’s an excerpt from Daily Candy’s email:
“Chumby, a user-friendly doodad that provides wireless-enabled entertainment.
How does it work? Well, you create an account on the Chumby website and choose your content — weather, traffic, news, horoscope, trivia, photos, radio, sports, videos, favorite sites — then Chumby connects by WiFi (for free) to download the goods. Interact with the device by simply touching its screen.
Toss the mini-TV-looking device onto any reasonably flat surface and use it as an alarm clock at home or plop it on your desk for a little distraction at work (Sudoku, kittens in drawers, Facebook updates).”
And this is where you can purchase one: http://store.chumby.com/ |
