| Movies in Canada |
|
Well To start off. Filmmaking in Canada blows monkeys. Like really 30 million people and always shots canada for canada. Not Chicago or St. louis or an american town. Only in american movies do they shot canada for the state or some other place. Its bullshit. People like me like film and love the art of it but up here.....you pretty much starve of art form. Like we are extreme proud of canada as canadians. I am. But why do american movies do so well? Cause they know a lil bit about capitalism lol Like I could make an entire movie in Newfoundland (where I live) and shot it for Western Canada, France, England, Rural America. And another thing is is that we make mores for groups of people that other people know nothin about. Like one made here in Newfoundland Rare Birds or Random Passage. Random passage is about rural newfoundland life back in the day and rare birds I don't know cause I never watched it. I think its about a bird watcher in newfoundland but I'm not sure. These movies means nothin to people in other parts of the world other than here. there is 500 000 people in newfoundland. More people live in Montreal, Toronto, LA,, New York. How do you sell movies that way. How do you finance the industry up here. Cause the movies here suck as. There was never a BLOCKBUSTER made by the canadian Film industry. That sirs and madams sickings me. I got ideas for farfetched concepts for movies like a Duke Nukem movie that makes sense and a movie about Mega man that doesn't sound like a crock of shit. I'm not going to get into details about it so you'll just have to trust me on them.
