rite... i want someones advice. my boyfriend of 10 months is so paranoid over his fone and last nyt recieved a msg and canceled it so i cudnt see it! ok abit weird! so i asked who it was and what it said and he sed he doesnt know! HE DOESNT NO? MY ARSE ITS ON THE SCREEN OF THE FONE! so i sed look! and he looked but wouldnt let me see so i jus sed forget it n went d.stairs. his mother was waffling on 2 me and i got to 2 go out n when i got to the door iw as approached by my boyfriend n i jus burst into tears i do everything for him he doesnt want me going out wid sum of my mates so i avoid it ect as much as i shudnt do that. but i think the world of him anyway. i get home and hes forwarded the msg 2 me. sum girl called micheala wanting to meet 4 a chat. he sed shes his mate he tells her bout me and him all the time but y hide the tx frm me int he first place. do u think its abit odd? or is he tellint he truth? im soo foolish and believe anything sometimes so i want abit of advice from a complete stranger as harsh as it may be!

im in the same boat as u sparkle. My man is constantly on his fone either texting or getting messages. When i ask who it is he tells me im invading his privacy and 2 stop questioning him. tell me soething before him did u have a life then wen u got 2gether did he make u feel bad wen u went out with friends so in the end u stop going out 2 make him happy. Then did he make u feel dependent on him like u couldnt do nehting without him but yet he could still go out and u have 2 wait 4 him not knowing where he is and who he is with? Let me know beacuse if so we can help each other out

i think if it was nothing to hide he should of let you see it. I would be a little worried and keep your eyes open as well as your ears.

You got a control freak. If he can't make you happy you don't belong with him. Dump him to make room for someone who makes you happy. No relationship can last without absolute honesty and trust.

I think hes worried that you would overreact and burst out even though nothing was going on (if nothing was going on) Sometimes we keep things from people to protect them...trust is never absolute, (ignoring religion in this comment) ever. Some people will split up because of a stupid message that had no meaning, or something was interpreted the wrong way. Perhaps he is trying to avoid hurting you.
People say if he trusts you he should show you everything...but that isn't what is in question here... people need privacy sometimes, ive come to realize this...the question that needs to be answered, is whether you trust him or not. If you trust him...you have nothing to worry about. If you don't, then you have problems, not because he is talking to someone else, but because lack of trust means your relationship won’t work out. Trust is fundamental in any relationship.
This is just another point of view then the “He sucks, break up with him, it’s all his fault” …like some fantasy perfect person is right over the hedges. Everyone has faults…what makes relationships work is that you accept their faults and work around them.
