| Can I (still) ride a Scooter?

Well, I may not have to justify things to you guys but, seriously, at home, every thought needs justification.
So the story goes...
So far, I have driven into my front door where my sister was wetting herself laughing at me. I have made very real, very firm contact with next door's driveway... via our hedge. I do intend on telling them about it, I just need to wait while the bruise in the middle of my chest heals sufficiently for me to walk upright.
My mother has now seen IT and could not even form the sentences she wanted to hurl at me. Dad's either ignoring it in the hope that if he pretends it's not happening, it won't. (Very popular technique in my family, ask me about this later). Or, wierdly, he doesn't know about it. Not quite believeable but, there you go. My mum may be protecting from the stress.
Anyway, I managed to slowly ride it into my garage, locked it up and there it will remain until a sunny day when I can practise outside again. Or I may just go for the CBT. I don't know.
But I really thought I could do it. How hard is it to ride a Scooter? Although I hadn't ridden a bike since I was 8, I still managed to get through the Kroller Mueler Museum on a bike a couple of years ago!
Okay, so I fell off a few times. Ended up with bruises in places I never thought I'd see again or have to deal with. But in the end, I managed to make it there. (Of course I took the bus back!!). But with God beside me and the eminent fear of dying from something as unglamorous as Hypoglycaemia, I got there in time for lunch.
Can I ride a Scooter?
I haven't even thought of the respectability aspect of it.
