I would like to felicitate President Pervez Musharraf for the great developments that he has done for the country. Although he is the president against constitution but I would give him the benefit of doubt and think that he really mean good for this nation.

Yes, this country is developing technologically, but I see everyday that the morals and ethics are being lost, we follow the western culture, since Mr. President is striving for moderate Islam but I think it is very significant to adopt the GOOD things about the west and disregard the BAD aspects. We see that people are only adopting what is bad, we have not learned to wait patiently in queues, we are not chivalrous, we do not respect the rights of others, all that we have taken from the western society are the evil and unlawful acts.

I want to throw light on the fact that the older Muslim generations were always ahead of their time, the Muslims in Spain, for example, were such a developed society that Spanish Jews used to ask Jews from other countries to come to Spain and flourish in Muslim civilization. But today, this onslaught of western media is misguiding the youth. Our youth has no idea of their potential. Islam, no doubt, is the most successful way of life, and I would like Mr. President to acknowledge that. I would like Mr. President to take into account this situation, because newer generations are so reliant upon the western technologies and so used to living with the western culture that they would not stand up for their rights to worship if they were taken away but would give up their belief. Mr. President should take steps to make people understand what the Islamic life is all about. His government is obliterating mosques; fingers are being raised at Madrassahs.

I would like Mr. President to make contemporary Islamic schools that will help children use the most modern techniques and equipment and will also let them know that Islam is the right way. Mr. President can also do a great deal by inviting scholars from all over the world to address the youth because most of them do not listen to Mullahs, since they have a stereotype that has been developed over the years. Mr. President can invite Islamic scholars like Dr. Abu Ameenah Bilal Philips, Abdul Rahim Green, Sheikh Yusuf Estes, Sheikh Hamza Yusuf, Imam Zaid Shakir, Sheikh Khalid Yasin and many other influential speakers to address the Pakistani youth. They can help Mr. President develop the plan for a perfectly balanced Islamic Educational Institute. This would prove that Mr. President is not anti-Islam and that he really cares and will help guide the youth as well. May Allah Guide us all. Ameen!
