| Wide awake when I should be sleeping |
So I am wide awake when I should be sleeping. I thought, what better time than to check's Mike's blog. We are currently spending the week at my mom's babysetting my adult brother and sister. Responsibilty seemed to stop with me...
Well anyway, since we are down to one car, Mike is taking me to work in the morning and then going back to our house. Normally I just read his blogs from his screen name since it is up, but here I have to actually make the effort to sign in. So while I am here, I may as well write my own blog.
Work is going as well as can be expected. I got a 2% raise. Woohoo! Not bad considering many people are taking pay cuts. However the 2% doesn't make up for what I know Mike will lose this winter at his shop. I found out today approximately how much my insurance is going to go up. I should get the packet in the mail soon that explains it all. Let's just say the 2% raise does not cover the increase in insurance. The only plus is that we will be able to buy extra vacation days. Who can't use those????
The personal life is going pretty well also. I don't think I have gotten too mad at Mike lately, nor he at me. Although sometimes he forgets that I am not his ex-wife and thinks I am going to act like her. I will have to find some way to cure him of this, as no one wants to be compared to the ex, unless you come out much much better. And since she has better boobs and a better complexion, I prefer not to have the comparisons start. I in turn try not to compare him to any of my exes. However, I admit its probably easier for me, since I wasn't married to any of mine, nor do I have to see them and speak to them frequently. He tries though, and I love him.
This reminds me that all I want to do lately is get rather frisky. We are supposed to go out drinking with one of our friends that, well, has had me darn close to being naked. Maybe that will knock Mike out of the "funk:" he is in and into me... hehe... Oh how I could induldge in "adult behaviors" every day, like numerous times a day. hehehehe... Yeah total nympho here...
My heart belongs to you baby and I promise not to share my body with any other guys...now liz...well...we have talked about that before... Muah! I am going to go try to kiss you some more...
