I'll answer first seeing as it's my question.

There are three people I can honestly say I'd give my life for without a second thought (or a first.)

1. My niece Alexis - There's nothing I wouldn't do for her, having helped raise her all her life I have this connection and strong love for her. I think my bond with her will be greater than that with any "future" nieces or nephews. She has my heart in an extremely special way. I want the best for her always... and no matter what I want her to live a long, meaningful life. For that I'd give mine.

2. My Best Friend Amanda - I've known Amanda all my life, honestly, almost 21 years (my dad and her dad are BFF's.) She's not blood but my love for her runs thicker than any blood could ever be. I've seen her in pain and each time I've wished it were me instead of her. Again, she holds my heart in a way that no one else ever could... and I'd never want to see her die, or hurt, and if I could take all pain (within reason) away from her, I would.

3. My Love, Bryan - He has the majority of my heart, and he has done so much for me in the short time we've known each other. He's changed my life, for the better. I couldn't see myself living without him. I want Bryan to have everything he could ever wish for... which means giving him the chance for a wonderful, long life... full of fun, love, passion, and education. Whether it be with me or not. I'd give my life for him, so he wouldn't have to lose out on all of that. On anything (but myself,) on life.

Well i would honestly give my life for 4 people.....1. my niece chastity shes my pride and joy i helped my sister raise her and i'm closer to her than my other two nieces...shes a smart girl and her mother made a lot of mistakes growing up and shes not going to make those same mistakes if it came down to me or her dying i would want to be the one to die so she could live a long and happy life...2. my boyfriend scott i love him with all my heart and would give my life for him i would do anything in the world as long as he was happy i love him and would give my life to him..3. my baby brother joey hes almost 5 and he is so smart for his age.. i love him with all my heart and would definatly give my life for him i would jump in front of a bullet to stop it from hitting him if i had to..4. My boyfriends daughter bella she may not be my own daughter but i would give my life for her because i know if he ever lost her he wouldnt be the same...I love bella as if she were my own...those are the 4 people i would give my life for without a second thought

My mother. Do I need to explain this one?
My best friend. She's more sister than friend.
My niece. I don't have kids, so she fills in.
I would not only lay down my life for these people, I would take the life of another human being if that person threatened these people in any way.

Thank you both for your answers. It seems we all three have something in common here... our nieces (and well the others we love too!) Hopefully their lives are never threatened in anyway. I've called ignorant for saying I'd give my life for them... it's good see other people feel the same passion and love that I do. And Mabel... I can say for sure... that I would take any life I had to for my niece. I'm don't know though about my BFF and my BF (I don't think they'd want me to do something like that)... but I'm sure I would though.

I'm an ex-marine and I have once before put my life on the line for many others I never knew. I would freely give my life for another if I am so called to do so. That includes the homeless man or woman on the street. Family always comes first but life no-matter who's life it may be is worth saving. Heck come to think of it I would run into a burning prison to save another life. Sometimes I wonder if I love this world too much, but then I realize that there was a man long long ago that did more than I ever will. I never met that guy but countless numbers of books tell of how he gave his life for me, and I believe that if asked I would return him the favor.
