About Me
About Me

Hello,

I am a aussie guy with diverse interests from music to wormfarming. I am an avid athiest and an advocate of democratic principals. I also use and support the Gnu/Linux opperating system. I have been into computers from an early age and have dabbled with electronics, designing and inventing things as well as well. I enjoy reading popular science books and periodicals, internet forums and communities. I am currently working part time as a courier driver, and working on developing a more professional career.

Oh, and BTW. You might like to break your text up into paragraphs, for visual and conceptual clarity. And why not use the spell checker? Isn't it working on your end? Also as creationist, you should know the difference between a 'profit' and a 'prophet'. The prophet is inspired by profits, but the profit is made by prophets. Don't let the tax inspector catch you worshiping false profits. (posted in Revised thoughts on the Religion vs Science Debate)
I believe, I believe, I have Faith, It's true. I believe, I believe... But Why?... Cos' I Do. "The one satisfaction I have is; when an aetheist or a darwinst lays on his deathbed, he will be afraid." This is the kind of moral virtue I have come to expect from creationists. The kind that derives pleasure out of the suffering of others. The emotional blackmail of fear, for the suffering you believe I will have to endure for all eternity, in that place you call Hell. Well my petty, vengeful friend, you can take this arrogant, sadistic assumption (that I will die in fear, then go to hell), and bash it right up yer dung funnel. You don't frighten me with your emotional blackmail. What kind of loathsome, depraved individual could muster any sort of emotion, other than morose pity, for another person whom, they truly believe is going to such a place? I am grateful to nature, that I have the capacity to fashion my own moral guidance systems and derive an understanding of fairness and compassion without the need of a supernatural deity. While I am alive, as an atheist, I am all the more moved to make the most of life and enjoy every moment I can and learn from the few I cant. Atheism is the reason I get out of bed with enthusiasm. I must derive meaning for my own life and make every moment count, because I will only be here for a while. Unlike the creationist, I do not not mollycoddle myself with the convenient and comforting fantasy, of an everlasting life in bliss. You talk about it being easy *not* to believe in God. Well if heaven is not a psychological crutch that makes it easier to accept the creationist dogma, I don't know what is. As far as reasoning goes, what is easy is this: When faced with something unexplained, it is easy, to not look for evidence, not demonstrate good reasoning, not estimate probabilities and to ignore facts. What is easy is to install a supernatural fix up into the gaps of understanding and Just say 'Goddidit'. But cheer up you have inspired me: On my deathbed I will try to remember you and before I pass from this place, I will forgive you for your hatred and pettiness. Right now, I would prefer to spit in you face and piss on your foot, for declaring you will get pleasure out of my moment of death. I will not fear my passing no matter what you say and you have no right to speak on behalf of my thoughts. If I tell you that my convictions are solid, you have no just or reasonable grounds to do anything but take me at my word. Now, Having remembered and forgiven you, I should then call upon one of your holly-persons to sit with me a while. I should make an explicit caveat, that I consider your holly trinity to be mythical fictitious being. Then, to whatever extent it can be considered meaningful to denounce something which doesn't exist, I should then like to denounce your holly spirit, your messiah and your God, as the evil inspiration for countless barbaric atrocities, acts of anti-intellectual oppression, pious, dictatorial, moralistic, fascism and ignorant insult to the beauty and wonder of nature. I will dedicate my ceremony of vehement repudiation in honor of you Keenan, in gratitude for having inspired it, by all you have said here. So Thanks (posted in Revised thoughts on the Religion vs Science Debate)
