Making the world a better place
This blog has begun today so that I can share with other people how to live a better life.  I will do this through real life examples, metaphors and stories.  I can only hope that people use this blog for support while they are growing and healing themselves and in turn making the world a healthier place for all of us!

Because this is my first blog I will have to wing it.  I have read about 3 blogs in my life.  One is the blog that my future husband began about his Polish Pottery at Potterystreet.com.  Interesting if you sell Polish Pottery wholesale, but for me, a little on the dry side.  The second blog is long time customer.  He had his first date with his current sweetheart at the restaurant I work at and since then has had 2 anniversaries, both with me as their waitress.  His blog is wild and with so many eclectic thoughts and ideas.  I enjoyed reading it once but the articles were very long and sometimes the language was way over my head.  The third blog is that of Steve Pavlina.  He inspired me to start a blog about something that is important.  A topic that will truly benefit people.

Today I mentioned to my future husband that I wanted to get paid for writing blogs.  I write all day, I love writing, people tell me often that I have a skill for writing, now I want to get paid to write about what comes from my heart.  My heart says that my blog should be about making the world a better place.  Through the years I have consistantly done my best to make the world I live in a better place.  I have donated my time to Special Olympics.  I have spent hours babysitting children from broken homes.  I have made many dinners for friends and aquaintances that are dealing with one of life's difficult moments and have no other friends or family to turn to.  Most of all, I have always put great time and care into giving people verbal support.

Verbal support from another human being is another form of affection.  Affection is necessary for a human being to survive and be happy.  When we are happy, the world is a better place.  Happiness is directly related to our behaviour towards ourselves, others and all other things and beings.  Now, as I am going through a ministerial training program, it seems natural to offer my services of verbal support communicating through this blog.

I want to offer the people that read my blog a service.  I want to offer them the truth as I see it.  I see the world of humans and the action of humans through humility which makes the quality of my life so much better.   My next blog will be about humility and how it can help to make our lives better.
