Survey Answers
no. Because its just showing people that it's okay to take one
persons life for taking someone elses. It just keeps the cycle
going. Its pointless.

I believe in the intrinsic value of human life, whether that of
the homicidal or that of the unborn. If, as some suppose, we're
all made in the image of God, then it seems to me that only God
should have the right to take human life. On the other hand,
perhaps God has given authority to the governments of the world
to execute His judgments; but, as a mere citizen, I do not want
to participate with or endorse any government's decision to
punish any man with death.

Well at one time yes. But why take a life for a life. Then
putting a person in the slammer for life is most effective but
costly in the long term. No real good answer. But the death
penalty should be abolished.

I am for it if the case is something is similar to somebody
killing thirty people by chopping them up with an ax while
smiling, then yes, that person brings nothing more than fear and
misery to our society. Paying to encarserate and/or attempt to
rehabilitate them is nothing more than irrisponsible.

No. I'm also apposed to life in prsion. People who feel like they
need to commit crimes should be helped not hurt. Putting them in
prison is just going to make them angrier with the world. As for
the Death Penalty: "An eye for an eye leaves the whole world
blind"

Dear SimplyJayden, I do believe in the death penalty, but I
think that the way we are doing it is wrong. Putting someone to
death by lethal injection and doing it behind closed doors serves
no purpose to society. If a man or woman has been sentenced to
death, then he or she should be brought forth in public for all
to see. Hanging should be the method we should use when
executing a person, and the entire community where the person
committed their crime should be made to watch, with the exception
of people under eighteen years old. I feel that doing it this
way would serve as a message to others who would commit murder.

We tried public hangings, that didn't create a lack of public
hangings. Death sentences should be carried out sooner-not in
fifteen years-espesially if the person was, without a doubt
guilty. Let the convict choose how but expidite the process!
As for Jayden, I am very close to someone getting out of prison
in a few weeks after nine years-he's not in for murder but he is
quite humble.
