Mom’s surgery went amazingly well. Her doctor is confident that it isn’t cancer. All that is left to do now, is recover. It has been a difficult few days. Mom didn’t want to be alone. I spent a few nights in the hospital with her. Long days long nights…hours ticking by…counting the dots on the ceiling. She had her tubes removed today. Tomorrow they will remove the epidural. She may get to come home tomorrow or the next day.
I have slept little- I have not had enough water- I have survived on caffeine and junk food. I am exhausted to my core.
Tomorrow is another day. I will get up early and go to work….then I help mom of the evenings. I am so tired.
