I went to the grocery store for the first time in weeks. I had been living off of cans of soup and the occasional double cheeseburger from the dollar menu. The Extra butt I got for Christmas, well the dollar menu isn't helping it.
I feel like I did when I first moved out from home. Saving every penny. Thinking of everything in terms of how much it costs- rather than what it is. It's funny- over the past 15 years I have clawed my way through three promotions so that I wouldn't have to live this way- and yet here I am.
I suppose I should be thankful that it is an option that I am Choosing to live so cheap. I don't Have to. I choose to in hopes of clawing my way out of the Ghetto. If everything goes well- I should have close to $2,300 saved up by the end of the month.
I would have 10,000 for a down payment & closing costs. I am trying to come up with another 5,000 to cover the cost of insurance & my old house payment for what will probably be at least a year I will have to sit on this house until it sells.
I am terrified and I miss Joey. |
