Since I had Zakk for the entire weekend, we decided to take him to a pumpkin patch Sunday afternoon.  This was his very first time to one (he's only 14 months old).  At first, he was a bit on the timid side, but soon enough he gained confidence and was strutting about like an old pro; hitting pumpkins with corn stalks, sitting on pumpkins, and climbing on the hay stacks.

We then went through a hay maze (that was totally SO cute!), and finally came out the other side to the pony ride area.  We didn't know exactly how he would react to being on a pony, but we went ahead and sat him atop this little black and white one that looked rather tired, but was really sweet.  He kept coming up to me to be petted, which melted my heart because I am terrified of horses.

Anyway, Zakk rode around in a circle a total of 5 times and had the biggest grin on his face!  I am so glad we took him. 

Oh, he also looked very "grown up" in his first pair of jeans and t-shirt with real Stride Rite tennis shoes.  I'll have to upload a picture really soon because the whole thing was really awsome and adorable.  I can say that because it is absolutely true.  Even if I'm his grandmother.
