Broken promises sting
Becasue i let my heart sing
Again i let you in
Even though you are my sin
The devil that lurrres me
to eat the apple from the tree
You ripped my heart to shreds
now deep inside i am dead
But still i fall into those eyes
The ones who brought relentless cries
Even after the humiliation you brought
From the love i sought
You took what little that remained
and tore till blood did stain
Now still a promise given
In the direction, driven
Back into the lie
human is to defy
Promises made to me
that lead me to believe i'm free
You stole not only my heart
You make my breath stop and start
Stolen dignity, stolen pride
In no one can i confide
Anger possesses my body
Thrown by sonthing inside of me
The broken glass
This heartbreak wont pass
A promise forever hanging
A noose around, dangling.
