| What day is it and where am I???

The main blog site has done well to capture the activities on our trip so far so I won't repeat here. I am sleeping about 4 or 5 hours a night and often wake up with no idea of where I am...the people here are so friendly that it is impossible not to feel welcome everywhere we go. I am moving to the 3rd city on our tour tomorrow (Friday) and I expect to have the same experience as before which is we get comfortable and don't want to leave then we get to know the next family and start over. The Andersson's have two kids and a dog so I have felt at home - they also lived in Seattle for 2 years so we had lots to discuss
On a lighter note - I experienced my first pay toilet. Amazing but you have to pay 5 Kroner ($1) to use a restroom in a public park. Maybe we should start that to raise revenue in Olympia....My english has deteriorated to slow, broken sentences that sound like questions with a lot of oooh ewww ehhhh and yaaa mixed in to match the local version of english. I hope to maintain it for a few days when I get back just for fun watching everyone react.
The wine and beer are excellent and we have had shots of aquavit (spelling??) which is like moonshine in a bottle. One shot is plenty!
I am finally slowing down on the meals and taking smaller portions because they often serve the main course again after you think you are done. So far I like the brown (goat) cheese and reindeer as new foods I would eat again at home. Most of the rest is similar enough that you don't worry about how it will taste. The caviar in a tube like toothpaste was strange but tasted fine. We have at least 3 meals a day but usually 4. The vocation days are excellent and I have more things in common with my counterparts than not.
Overall this is much different but also much better than I had imagined. I know this is affecting my outlook but am unsure as to how much and how long it can last after my return. The one thing that strikes me the most is how much less they use of everything...the focus is so much more about lifestyles than things. Miss my family and friends but I am making lots of new friends as well. There are so many people I want to spend more time with but the schedule doesn't allow for it.
We have made 2 presentations and another tomorrow. only 6 more after that. I will burn my clothes in london when I am done - I know it is only a week in but they suck - especially with 70+ degrees every day. Too hot and uptight for me.
I have to go to bed - its 1:13 and Shaylina/kids aren't home so I will get a few hours sleep before we meet all new hosts tomorrow and say goodbye to Nittedal.
