 Popularity?
Why do people follow people just because it's popular? What has so and so ever done for you that REALLY matters? The only person that has ever done anything for you that truley matters is Christ. Because he atoned for your sins you have a chance at salvation. Can you think of any single more important event? There is nothing more important than this. There is no other person in the world that loves me this much, and for that I won't follow anybody else more closely or strictly because nobody else has demonstrated a cause worthy enough for this place in my heart.

He is real. He did what the Father asked Him to do for you and me. He showed the deepest love for us, so why do people chose people that have done nothing or very little in comparison to this sacrafice and follow them before Christ? Do we value silver more than gold? I think the question goes beyond that. Do we value popularity more than love? Remember without love all things must fail.

"Charity never faileth: but whether there be prophecies, they shall fail; whether there be tongues, they shall cease; whether there be knowledge, it shall vanish away. " (1 Corinthians 13:8)

I really enjoyed your blog. What Christ did for us should motivate us to follow him. Great post!
