Why waste your time? Obama will continue to use his eloquence and charm to weasle his way into the hearts of the voting public. He will continue to mix fantasy with fiction and convince the American people that he can save the world. In the end, those voting on emotion will want to support him; those with any intelligence will see the dark path that his plans of socialism will lead us down and will vote for McCain. Watch "Scrubs" instead and at least get a laugh.

Gosh darn politicians and their eloquence. I mean, good ole George can't even read notecards and he's been doing a great job...
except for the recession that he's practically caused with his liberal economics and deregulation that haven't worked. And the billions of dollars he's authorized to be poured into a war that has no end in sight. Why should American's vote for someone who has a vision for America that will get us out of this economic mess and allow America to help their fellow man. After all, I missed the past of the declaration of independence that says 'life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness... if you make over $250,000 a year. Other than that, good luck.'

Indeed, if people had taken your apparent opinion that people who speak well need not be held in esteem, America would have been robbed of some of its greatest leaders... FDR, Abraham Lincoln, JFK.

But I'm just saying. To each his own political opinion. Incidentially, I can't watch it tonight... but I'll catch the highlights another day. I'm already a decided voter...

SCherise2:

Its not that I do not hold those who speak well in esteem; I do not hold any regard for those who speak well, but lie when they are doing it. If you believe Obama then you are naive. In his infomercial last night, he reviewed all of his campaign promises, highlighting what each would cost. He's about $100 billion short in his ability to pay for them (and that accounts for all the cuts he is planning on making). How can any reasonably intelligent person believe that he will do all this and cut 95% of the American people's taxes. He will say anything he can to get your vote, regardless of his ability to come through.

Oh, by the way, I missed the part of the Declaration of Independence that says " life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness ... and nationalized healthcare, welfare assistance forever, the ability to purchase a home without financial resources, teh ability to end the life of an unborn child or the life of a child born during a botched abortion" Those are the parts that I missed but which Obama would gladly add. If Obama wins, I hope everyone enjoys living in the new USSR (United States Socialist Republic).
