| Too Much for a Single Post!! |
Needless to say I've been Busy :p
I'll start in the rough area where i had left off last :
Campaigned for Obama, making calls and talking to people, and the night of the Election I was so keyed up I could'nt bring myself to go to any of the many parties we were considering...
I knew I would just be glued to the TV, and ignore anyone who would try to talk to me anyway...
So we opted to stay home and eagerly await the results....I was ready for a looooong night...
BUT! Ohio came so quickly! and that was it! We went nuts! And so did every one else! Cars honking! People screaming (in the good way)! We we're banging our pots and pans out our window, hollering at everyone who past! Who would holler back, "YEAH!!!! WE DID IT!!!!!!"
Ryan and I ran up and down the streets, whooping, and hugging people, LOL, and everyone was doing the same! Everyone's eyes were glistening with tears...
Then we ran back inside to catch Barack's speech... and I cried even more... so proud for what we and everyone had worked for....and ready to do more, the immense amount of work that is still to come in order to steer this country on a course that truly lives up to the noble ideals this country has the capabilities to represent and uphold.
Fast forward......
The Vegas trip went great! Such a great group! And everyone seemed to really have a great time :) Valentina did such an amazing job at making it extra special for everyone. Ryan and I were once again reminded, what incredible people we have the blessing to work for, along with being able to call family :) You can't beat that :)
All of the bloggers were so kind and are, flat out, some of the best people you could meet!
Had Thanksgiving at my parent's in Delaware.... Ate a ton of food.... went shopping....and had a really nice time just getting to hang-out for the week :)
Now we're prepping for the Holiday's...
My sister and her boyfriend will be staying with us for the next couple of days, then we're flying down to P-cola to stay with my Grandparents for a few days :)
Then driving to St.Augustine to celebrate our 4 year anniversary in a sassy romantic hotel :D
then heading down to Merritt Island to spend X-mas with Ryan's family
Then Its back up to the city where we'll start classes once again, and begin our collaboration for the up coming theatre season.
Whew!......I feel like I'm still leaving out alot.....
