The Jig is Up! Time to Finally Post an Update :)
Alright :)

So, the play ended the 10th of this Month ( with strike and load out sprawling across the following two days) and I must say...I wasn't exactly weeping in my peanut butter granola ;)

The run went great. People seem to really enjoy the show which was nice...
I guess the ten day marathon of socializing and drinking and smoking and talking other people down from their addictive negative thought patterns, was starting to sully my complexion and my disposition :)

The whole thing was a challenge that I truly am grateful for...I learned a lot about myself, my ability to collaborate, and my ability to lead.....all pretty big "a-ha" moments for me :)

It's interesting..... directing this show has uncovered in me more of a desire to self-promote :P
Which was an incredibly taboo concept for me before.
...And of coarse one of the core pillars of pursuing an acting career. ;)
So, as you can imagine I was at a bit of a stale-mate with myself.
Now, I feel much more motivated to get myself out there :)

Here's what's on my agenda:
Acting Classes - I'm finally admitting to myself that to really stay on top of my game, I really am going to need to be continually testing myself an working out my acting "muscles"...not to mention, I truly believe the universe will sense that creative out-put from me, and send some unlocked doors my way :)
Dance Classes- I'm a dancer and have seriously been neglecting that part of myself. I've been riding on instincts and inherent connection with the music for to long! Time to put the work in! Discipline! Training! :)
( I went to my first hip-hop class a couple days ago...the teacher maybe smiled once...five people left in the middle of the class...i was sucking serious bum-hole ;) ...but I fought my impulse to do only what I'm good at instantly...and stayed :) that was a proud moment for me)
Plan my next Personally tailored collaboration- stuff i really want to do, with people I really want to work with....sweet :)

that's it for now...
MuchLove!
