WOW..I just realized it has been some time since my last entry: shame on me.. I have been working two jobs, very busy, very tired by the end of the day..I know, I know..excuses..
So our Christmas tree is up, the girls and I took about three days to do it, just didnt feel like rushing it..I have the same ornaments from when they were babies, and they love to pull out the different ones and share their memories.. Watched a few Christmas cartoon classics: Frosty, Drummer Boy, Rudolph.. Its very dark and gloomy outside, if I were in NY I would think it was going to snow..
I have lost five pounds, even over the holiday, so I am thrilled. Of course, I am not eating very much at all..I am still so pissed off at Duke. I received my care there for 15 years, and when they went to electronic, they lost some of my records..some of which included my weights..and I was meeting the criteria for surgery except for not having those available..That is fucking ridiculous..So I decided that mentally I had the surgery on that day and have followed a post bariatric diet since then..Every time I get hungry, which is actually less and less, I just step on the scale or try to remember the feelings I had at the surgeons office...
Shadow is quiet..must be hurting a great deal..he lies in his cave suffering alone when he hurts..
Well, I am off to make some diet cocoa..to totally set this holiday mood today!
