Well, I started my new job in the bookshop this week, Wednesday to be precise. I'm concentrating hard, trying to be always doing something, even if its just familiarising myelf with the stock. The people there are very nice, very friendly, and most of them have been there for a long time! I will have to work hard to keep up. My naturally lazy nature doesn't want to, but if I can just get the hang of it fast, it will become easier, and then perhaps I can contribute new ideas, little improvements. Then, maybe, when 6 months are up, they will renew my contract. Otherwise, I'll have to start jobhunting all over again, learning new stuff and new people all over again. I'm getting too old for this, (which of course means its now that I really need it) But anyway, unless I screw up badly, I've got 6 months at least.
