Yaaay! I got the bookshop job.Subject to a CRB check, so now I have to wait for them to check that I'm not a crook or a paedophile, (yawn) so that I can work in a shop. I need to get my head back into the book world, look at current and recent topsellers, including ones that I'm not interested in, non fiction etc. Can't wait, but in the mean time, I must get the house tidied up. And once 6 months is up, if there isn't any budget to keep me on, (or they don't want to keep me enough to let me carry on, if I don't do a good job) then I'll try again for the school houses. Still, its a big relief to have a job again. And the pay is more than twice what I've been used to for the last 6 years!
