I love this poem with all my heart. It's exactly how I feel today, mostly because I recently broke off all connections with my long time love - Ana.
You know how people tell you that you never truly fall out of love? I think I'm starting to believe that, truly. I've had three real loves, Ana, Elizabeth and Alex. I will always reserve a part of my heart for them somewhere.
The horrible part about always loving somebody, is that you can fall in love with somebody else, and the one you thought you were over can come right back and rekindle things into something that feels like an inferno within your heart.
