Oh, wow. I have a mother that hates my guts, but I've never had to deal with a drunk mother.
I always feel like a pansy for not being outright, but parents can be scary sometimes (or alot, depending on yours). I think we keep our bad thoughts to ourselves because we don't like disapproval from our parents, abusive or not.
I find it very satisfying to vent everything out to a friend. It doesn't have to be all in one sitting; you can just tell your BFF "Ugh, Mom's sloppy drunk AGAIN. I hate it when she's like that." Or something. Chances are, your friend'll sympathize with you, and try to cheer you up, maybe by telling their probs. I really hope your family situation might get better, no matter how slim the chance.

Same with me. Mom only grounds me when I procrastinate to the point of failure. Otherwise, I'm sent to the basement, where Mother has a long conversation (read: lecture/sermon) about how my soul's gonna rot if I "continue behaving like this." And long means 2-4 hours, after school, and I really need to...ahem...relieve myself (public restrooms scare the shit outta me). Or they could be at 8am, when Mom and I stayed up all night and I can feel myself going crosseyed. Happy family, huh?

Thanks! This is for the blue book, which shows things happening from Scarlet's point of view, so Lumas and Jake don't play as big of a role in this one (though they are in the top 3 of my fav characters *cries*).
My black book, however, tells from Jake and Lumas's point of view, making them the main characters. Also, the black book is set 6 months after Scarlet arrives, so it's not the same. But I like writing about Jake and Lumas more, and little bursts of writing ingenious usually happens faster with that one. Thank you for commenting ^_^!

Eh. At the funeral thing that I went to (my great-grandpa died. Very peaceful death, though) They spelt my name like that >3<.

I live in the south, and it's the same deally.(Except that the majority of the "popular" girls at my school are kinda ugly XD) People are practically obsessed with clothes. Even guys at school are obsessed.
I hate the whole earing thing. Damn ears aren't even pierced.
Some of the stuff doesn't make you popular, though. There's this one girl, Renee, who's, like, gorgeous, and she isn't popular. And I'm an Aeropostle fanatic (not kidding on this; my entire wardrobe, save the few Old Navy shirts is Aeropostle), and just ask my friends about the lipgloss addiction I have. But me? Popular? Pshh, funny. Popular girls avoid me like the plague. But they ARE fake, I'll give you that.
