I have to say that yesterday after I got off of work my day turned into one of the best days ever.  We've been looking at places to live starting in about a month, and thanks to our need of a short lease, things haven't been looking so up.  The other night I was just goofing off telling my roommate to look up some fancy place outside of the city so she did.  We immediately fell in love with the floorplan online probably because of the loft and walk in closests so we decided to venture to the actual place and check it out.  Needless to say it is simply AMAZING, and in about a month we'll be living there.  Did I add it's much cheaper than what I pay now?  How exciting is that?  I think we went a little overboard on the excitement by already shopping for the house last night.  But somehow it made me want to paint which I haven't wanted to do in like a month.  Maybe this is the thing that is going to make me shift back into Florida life because ever since I went to New York City things haven't been the same.  I miss it terribly, and I think that my love of the city changed my life that week.  It made everything here seem so blah.
On a completely different note,  we were supposed to be going to Vegas for my 21st in a month, but due to the need of moving and money needing to be used on other things, we are going to wait until mid august or labor day weekend.  But this whole new desire to do something in Florida is making me more excited about celebrating my birthday here instead of Vegas.  This way I get to be with all of my friends not just the ones that can afford to go to Vegas.  I'm sure I won't remember my birthday, but that's a whole other issue.
So finally I have a place to live and a birthday to look forward to.  :)  It turns out everything really does work out in the end.
