Education policy

No one else may be as much of an education policy geek as I am, but I just had rto post on this!

If Hillary becomes president, we may see a dramatic change in our education policy. If McCain or Obama is elected - we won't.

Ted Kennedy co-sponsored NCLB, it’s still his baby. If Obama wins, he'll let Ted do his thing. If McCain wins, he want to work with the Dems, so Ted will also be able to do his thing, maybe with some limits. But Hillary -
well, she wont forget how strongly Kennedy came out against her, after she & Bill gave him so much support when he needed it. So seniority aside, Ted won't be ruling education anymore even if he is still the nominal head of the committee.

If Hillary is the nominee, look closely at who is advising her on education - her Secretary of Education will have a lot more to say than Kennedy.
