I just started blogging late last year. I was very hesitant in putting my thoughts out there because I am a very private person especially when it comes to my own musings. I guess not all people can really relate to what I have to say. Most of the time, I feel I am the odd ball except for very few close friends who happen to know and accept me for who I am. Birds of the same feather flock together. I am thankful for them. They may not be a handful of friends but these people are the ones who stand behind me no matter what. They listen to what I have to say, offer their suggestions, they don't use me to alleviate themselves of their situations or responsibilities. I don't all the time see them though lately we have been coming together more often no matter how crazy our schedules are. We make time. I am blessed to have them in my life. You girls know who you are.
I seem to have shifted a bit. I am taking the time to say thank you and to show appreciation to the people here who takes time to read my blogs and make comments. I am simply at awe on how things are going here. When I started blogging, I was anxious because at some point, I have not written for so long, mostly formal writing and work related. I did not know I could reach some people with my writing, let alone people will take the time to read it. I did not know also I have a knack for writing this way. I am quite addicted already. It has been a good release of tension as well as creativity. At some point, I am also getting little by little out of my shell and putting my thoughts out in the open. I feel touched and appreciated that there are people other than the ones whom I am really close to seems to care and willing to share their time to affirm, offer suggestions, give encouragements and more. I am deeply happy I have new friends here though they are million miles away let alone in another continent. I am happy how other people are open here and being friends easily. I am truly blessed. Friendships can really be found in the most unlikely places.
