He really is taking the mick, and maybe you need to tell him straight that you cant support him, he either needs to see a doctor especially about his sleeping, get a job and pay his way, otherwise all the while you do it love or not, he is going to let you, because its an easy life. (posted in What to do . . .) yep you need to ditch this buddy, and let him wallow in his own space, not saying you should be with whiteknight, but maybe you should be on yr own sorting you out first and then take each day as it comes, and see how you feel after a few months on your own, no one should ever get married by other peoples pressure family or not, it took me and my husband 12 years before we married, and we were engaged for 10.
