Advice for GUYS - 2nd DATE
In my last Blog we discussed taking somebody out on a first date…..and playing it perfectly. Hopefully you did play it perfectly, you are interested in the girl…she is still interested in you, and now its time to arrange date number 2.

Here’s my advice for arranging and going on date number 2.

After spending a whole first date together I’m hoping that you listened to her and found out what she likes and dislikes.

So, if she told you she loves Chinese food – suggest a Chinese restaurant… if she told you she loves the movie dirty dancing…look at the listings at your local movies…see if there’s anything dance related and suggest going to see that…or see if you can get tickets to the theatre to watch a musical. If she came across as sporty and competitive you could suggest 10 pin bowling or crazy golf – even maybe a big sporting even like a soccer match or basketball, but if she came across as girlie you’d be better suggesting a trip to one of those HUGE shopping malls where you’ve got lots of options (shopping / restaurants/ movies etc.. all under 1 roof.) she’d be in heaven there. So basically it’s all about using the information to your advantage and suggesting something you know she will like. This will get you bonus points with her because she will love the fact you listened to her interests. The best way to ask her is just to text her, at least then you don’t have to worry about mumbling and not getting your words out. Word the text something like this:

“Hey, how are you? Would you like to go out on Saturday night? There’s a Chinese restaurant in town I’ve heard great things about…thought we could try it out if you are free?”

Obviously follow the same rules a date number one with regards to making an effort with your appearance and turning up on time.

Once you are on the date, it should be fairly easy. If you kissed at the end of date number 1, then try to pick up where you left up and kiss her when you greet her, this will avoid the date long anticipation of “will we kiss”. Also, feel free to hold her hand or put an arm around her when walking together or sitting down. Show some affection. She obviously likes you because she’s agreed to a second date!

At the end of the date things should now be much more relaxed between the two of you….and if you haven’t already kissed then GET A MOVE ON!! You don’t want to leave it too long…if you do there’s a chance you’ll miss the opportunity and become “just good friends!”
If you have kissed; then well done. Kiss her goodnight again… and tell her you’ll be in touch soon. Text her when you get home thanking her for a wonderful evening (if she hasn’t already beaten you to it!) 

Just a little bit too formal an approach for me, I prefer humour and being silly and I think play is a great way of breaking down barriers.

I think also the English do not touch one another it is like a taboo.

Interesting blog I must say, and welcome to thoughts SaintHelen.

Thanks for your comment!! Yes it is a formal approach, but my blog is aimed at guys who lack confidence and find it hard to approach women. Glad you hear you've got the moves though! :-) Very true about the english being quite closeted though, we certainly dont show our true feelings. I think its the whole "stiff upper lip" thing from the war...people dont seem to have gotten over it! :-)

Thank's for replying and I hope you do not mind my saying, you have a lovely smile. There is one really big thing that I miss is the warmth of the English, it radiates in your eyes and face.
