Laying here staring into darkness, I hear you voice whispering of a woman I've never met, never heard her name, I never thought it would soon become something to make me ashamed, I put it all behind. 'Cause babe, you were my world, and you were so kind. I soon forgot. Until the day you were caught.

You said I was a waste of time, I wasn't worth it, now I just sit here, reflecting and looking back, remembering all the things I never know you lacked.

I say keep it just as it is. It holds some true emotion, and it's wonderfully written. It brings back feelings of a past relationship... And you know, when a song can bring back feelings for someone you no longer care for, it was well written. I say not to change a thing.
