When did our idea of beauty become so distorted?
At what point did someone decide that people in their natural state weren't good enough?
Who in the world felt that they had the right to sell the rest of the world this twisted picture of "beauty" and "perfection"?
Why don't people see the beauty in being human.
Guess what, humans aren't perfect.
Such a simple concept,
But then why do people buy into the porcelain skin that the media is selling?
Why then, do people look at the girl on the cover of that magazine and wish to have a body so "perfect",
instead of seeing the hours of airbrushing and manipulating that went into that image?
I think every single person's new year's resolution should be to open their fucking eyes.
Stop being such drones. Beleve it or not, at one point or another,
you had an independant mind.
You had thoughts and opinions of your own.
Dig them up again.
Search through all the fuzz you're being drowned in.
Stop swallowing what you're being forced fed.
