I miss livejournal. I think that is the reason I felt the need to start this blog. Livejournal was the predecessor to myspace and facebook and, while I have both of the alternatives, I really miss just typing random stuff about my junior year of high school and being both insipid and endearing. I hope this makes a good substitute.
Anyway...
This is not an advice blog. I dont particularly care to know what random other people think about my problems or how to fix them. It is also not a celebrity gossip blog or a fashion faux pas blog (although I could do an entire page on my rants against fat girls trying to rock skinny girl clothes...).
I'm actually not sure what this is, yet... but, my guess is, someone will figure it out.
I really like the Blake Lewis cd. When I woke up this, er, afternoon, I woke to the sound of his almost typically American Idol-esqu voice, and practically bounced out of bed to his beats. It took me about a foot's worth of bouncing to remember that I was sick, and had been forced by both my doctor and mother to stay in bed all day. With good reason, apparently, because as soon as I stoof my lavender walls began swimming around my head. And I laid back down immediately.
That was about 4 hours, seven facebook comments, and zero actual productive activties ago. And to add insult to injury, I got about three phone calls from my high school friends inviting me to go ice skating this evening.
Yes I'm going stir crazy. Thank goodness for boyfriends and cell phones. |
