 9/15/09 Hills
Whoa today was rough. All I can say is that I went hard on long hills, and they beat me down. I ran 1.6miles on steep hills. My time was 14min, and 40 secs. I ended up walking for about 30 seconds which made my time slower, I know hills are definitely my weak point, and even tho they make me suffer, I know that after I finish a hill run that I've made forward progress, and its always nice to feel that you've made some kind of progress. It was also really humid, cause it had just stopped raining, and that made it torture. I would have rather ran in the rain. Tomorrow is hopefully a my first 5k distance run, as long as my legs feel good in the morning, ya I'm definitely running a 5k in the morning, I've decided.:D

Hills are hard at first but if you stick with it they will get easier over time.
The first 3.5 miles of my main run is uphill. It took me a long time before I could run the whole way without walking breaks but eventually I did it.
