War between media and government

It is generally believed that media is the fourth pillar of the nation, and media is also major expression which reflects the society, but the question arises that whether media acts positively towards government policies or not. During past few years, media, especially electronic media runs towards the establishment and betterment. It has also been observed that electronic media and some noted journalists are much suspicious towards the government; they show the negative points of government and do not appreciate the positive work done by the government.
In today’s world internet is very common. In fact it is the part of one’s life and that is why many rumors are spreading through internet and mobile phone about media policies. These rumour included Pakistani media is controlled by an anonymous organization which is working all over the world against Islam and that is the reason, media only emphasizes on negative points so the whole world thinks negatively about Pakistan and Islam. According to this theory, all talk shows are the proof of these rumors.
How much this carries truth? God knows better.
It is strange to see that all noted journalists appearing on private channels emphasize on negative points and degrades the politicians that is also the main reason of offense of government of Pakistan. We have dozens of private channels and they all are desperately talking against the government. Whenever you open television, you will see that whole media is showing hatred against government and they all actually try to compel the viewers to trust on media and go against the government.
Although criticizing the policies of the government is job of the media, but media should also the highlights government’s positive points so that nation and lay man trust and believe in media and may be the world will change the opinion about our country.
Teacher's Note: NOTE: Very weak. This is why I asked you people to bring outline o f articles etc. At the eleventh hour I can not put all the things. Question is why private channels are opposing the govt? there are more than 3-4 major reasons.
No specific example is there. What are positive points of the govt? What should be the role of media, ethics, responsibility, accuracy and objectivity?
