  UK v USA - The Pop Music Contest
Has the UK or the USA produced the best popular music in the last 50 years?

I'd sayAmerica cannot match The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, The Who.
They have tried, and Blondieweren't bad, but the UK remains ahead.

Presley, B.B. King, George Clinton and P-Funk, Prince, Phillip
Glass. so not really. Just because the Beatles were great
doesn't mean UK wins.

Fair point, though I'm sure Elvis Costello is British, and two
thirds of the Jimi Hendrix Experience were. I was forgetting
about Bob Dylan, The Byrds, The Doors, Velvet Underground,
Supremes, Temptations, Osmonds, Monkees, Carole King, Eagles,
Buddy Holly so maybe....
