To my Kids and My Mother on Mothers Day
I am so blessed to have 4 grown children
I love them with all my heart
they mean the world to me!
Nicole

Samantha

JR and Kate

(those are pictures of pictures, very poor quality...however, I think you are able to see how cute they are!)
My kids are very lucky to have 3 grandmas
More than most...
I would like to wish all of them a fantastic day
want to let them know
they are loved and appreciated by
all of us
Gram Snyder
Me Ma
&
Gram Ezzy
When the children were little
I used to read this story over and over again
Today, I would like to dedicate it to them
In my blog today
I was going to write
recounting some of my favorite memories
However
I had a hard time deciding
So
I think I will write individual letters
(I promise they will not be too long)
Below is a video expressing how I feel
I will love the 4 of you
no matter what!
Always count on it!
---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
My Mother
has been with me for 88 years
I thank God everyday I have her in my Life
Her youngest sister, my Godmother
Aunt Pat
is like a second mother to me
To make a very long story short
I cherish them

This You Tube is dedicated to every Mom and Every Grandma
Please pass the Kleenex ...
this story gets me every time!
HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY EVERYONE!

To and from my Sorrority reunion with loud mouth Tabitha at the helm
Part 1
The Alpha Sigma Reunion
I am going to try to make a long story short, but don’t bet on it!
With great anticipation I drove to Milwaukee last Friday and stayed overnight at my good friend, Maryde's house. The following day, the two of us, headed to Whitewater for our luncheon/sorority reunion.

My girlfriend's GPS system is totally inept to say the least. More than once I told that frustrating device to shut up! Tabitha, the traveler, my nickname for the darn thing, should go back to school and take a geography class. Nevertheless, she is a loud mouth bossy tart who keeps changing her mind and constantly recalculating...she simply cannot make up her mind and for a joke, she sends trusting people on wild goose chases! Frankly, Tabitha drives me crazy and has a very poor track record getting people to and from their destinations... occasionally she lost contact with her satellite leaving us stranded surrounded by cornfields, fyi it's virtually impossible to tell one corn stalk from another.
Oh and by the way do you know Seri, her sis works for Apple and their mom (God Bless Her) who is employed by the phone company is the one on the other end of 411 calls who forever tries to assist us. Sometimes wrong numbers are given and other times she hangs up on us. However, for your information (pun intended) she is a single mom who has had to support her not so bright family all by herself, because their dad is spending life in phone jail ...I hope the girls have something special planned for their virtual mother this Sunday!
If it wasn’t for the pleasant girl at the front desk at the Baymont Inn and Suites Hotel in Whitewater who acted as our control tower, our beacon of light, who guided us to town, Maryde and I would be driving around the countryside lost dazed and confused with stupid Tabitha until we ran out of gas!
After about our 3rd call to the front desk, I thanked the girl on the other end of the phone! She was so kind and helpful and extremely patient. Out of nowhere, I blurted “I could just kiss you” Then quickly added, and “I am going to like it!) (Katy Perry song) I think the poor girl was afraid I was going to follow through because when we finally arrived... I asked the babe at the desk if she was the chick I was going to kiss? She blushed and told me the receptionist had gone home for the day...perhaps it was she that was my savior yet was actually afraid I might have intended to follow through.
We had a lovely reunion which will be included in part 2 ...this blog is only about our arrival and departure.
Sunday after the lovely reunion, Maryde and I headed back to Milwaukee on a very dismal rainy day. I warned her about Tabatha and suggested she throw her out the window. Apparently my bud and Tabatha have had a good relationship in the past, and like a long time hairdresser who once gave you a bad haircut, Maryde was loyal and decided to trust Tabitha to get us home. (Big, Big mistake I said) Maryde did not listen until we had gone in a circle so many times we were dizzy.
After I insisted countless times, she finally acquiesced and as a result we stopped at a gas stations to get directions!
When we arrived at her home in Mequan, the two of us were totally exhausted.
And
That’s when I discovered I had left my computer at
Baymont Inn & Suites Whitewater.

Up Up Up, you can't get any lower, um well, maybe you can?
I posted something on April 18th
and
Prelude2it suggested I listen to this upbeat song
I've heard it before, but forgot all about it
just like I forgot to post this blog?
I just noticed it sitting in my draft room
thanks Prelude2it
If I told you about my last few weeks you just would not believe it.
Murphy's Law
I dropped things, broke things, misplaced things
and even got lost a few times
and that's just the cliff note version
Everything seems to be going wrong
but hey
I am an optimist
and I have always been able to laugh at myself when frustrating things happen
and they seem to be occurring quite often
so I suppose you could say, I have been laughing a lot
Here is one tiny example
I purchased a meal at a drive through
then left without my order
I realize
Many other people have it much worse
I have to play my favorite 'it happens' song
Truthfully
every time something unpleasant happens to me
I take a picture of it
Yesterday my building was on fire
\

no one was hurt
I grabbed my purse and my computer and headed down the stairs
that's another story
however
If you'd like to share anything that has happened to you recently
there is plenty of room below for comments
Oh
By the way
Does anyone have any uplifting songs?
such as
Put on a happy face
I think music therapy is the best!
All you have to do is
Crank up the volume, let it blast
then sing at the top of your lungs
(if your crabby neighbors who hate wind chimes don't complain)
KGL you are like a little angel
thanks for this song

It Just Takes Time
Divorce hurts!
It cuts like a knife and the regrets are haunting
It's not easy to direct my inner voice to be kind
I will be OK
Right now I am among the walking wounded
I have a lot of baggage
I’m recovering
Some day I will be lighter
Thankfully, I have a lot of help
Friends lift my spirits and keep me on track
Phone calls, texts and blog comments remind me I'm not alone
Getting together with buddies takes my mind off myself
and renews my spirit
I am very grateful
Laughter is the best medicine
Crying is a necessary release
I've been keeping my eyes on the road
instead of constantly checking the rear view mirror
I am redefining myself
My faith is stronger and so am I
Healing will occur and l will be whole again
This experience will be transforming
and made into something good and useful
Time to move on
I look forward to the future
I choose hope
I will fake it till I make it
I will heal
Watch me!
I have a life to live!
I've started to smile and dance again
It just takes time!
