 New week, New start.
Well, crud.
It used to be the 4th day that kicked me in the hiney - and this time it was a visit from doting aunts that feel food is the glue that binds families together.  The visit took over my entire schedule for the last few days, and no time to post my meals.  I can admit to eating out each day they were here - eating bread and even a dessert.  We had muffins for breakfast, and I just went along with it....

Well, it was great to see family.  I did make sure to have lean proteins rather than fatty ones, and the indulgences were at least portion-controlled.  So, better than what my pre-"revolution" eating was.

Back to the grind now!  I need to be serious about this, or it just won't work!  (Duh...)

So - Week 1 change in habits has led to:
2 lbs weight loss (wow!  a loss!!)
3.5 hours of walking (with the dogs, and while visiting the touristy sites with my aunts)
10 minutes of RUNNING!  (which I really hate, but it was good... and it's a start)

New week... so, let's see what I can do.

Eating today:
Breakfast: Scrambled eggs with spinach, canadian bacon (2 pieces), water, and coffee
Lunch: Tuna fish, cheese stick, celery, water, and diet soda
Dinner: Spinach, tomato, zuchini and green pepper salad with sprinkle of oil&vinegar dressing, baked fish, water
Snack: Muffin (It was the last one of the batch my aunt's made, so opted to finish it off.  Not diet-friendly at all.  Hope to make it the last bad thing I report!)

I know it's early to report for my dinner - but that is the planned meal, and I am not going to venture away from that plan!  :)
