| True love? I think not. |
This has really been bugging me lately. I see people all over my school saying "I love you" and "I'll never leave", but i don't belive a word of it. How can these people get so caught up in the bullshit of it all to actually believe what they are saying? Don't they see the break-ups that take place daily? It's stupid to see these people hook-up and within days feel they're truly in love. They don't even understand what love is. If I asked them to give me three reasons why they think this love is real, they wouldn't be able to answer. It's stupid and annoying to witness this daily and then two days later see them heart broken because their boyfriend or girlfriend of a week has broken up with them. 98% of the people who date in high school actually marry and I'd wager even less stay together instead of divorcing. These people need serious reality checks. You're NOT in love. You COULDN'T be. You've been going out for a month tops and you barely know one another. You need to see your sad delusion and fix it before you end up heart broken over a joke. What's even worse is how people assume they're in love and ready for sex. You're a teenager for goodness sake! You aren't ready for sex and you aren't ready for a kid. Can't you see this? People really need to see this and how sad it truly is. It's so annoying for those of us with friends in this dilemma becuase we're the ones who have to help them after they went through the "worst day of their life". You'll get over it. You'll findsomeone new within days and you'll be "madly in love again". What a stupid, stupid delusion these people live in! I'd love to hear other's thoughts on this. Am I the only one who feels this way? Would you say I'm biased because I'm single and jealous? If you do, you are sadly mistaken. I know what goes on and I rather stay away from this stupid dream of true love at the age of 15.
