If you return hatred with Hatred, doesn't that make you just as bad or even worse than that which you despise ?

Have you heard this (or similar) before :
"Lord, forgive them - for they know not what they do."
Well it is up to them to understand and know 'what they do' so that they can CHANGE for the better.
This makes it apparent that understanding of self is of paramount importance in the development of a human being. So seek to understand your-self and thus you will understand life itself, with all its' greatness and pettiness, its' joys and sorrows. Then, by this growth as a human being, you will not need forgiveness - because you will be on the Good path. You will channel goodness, and you will receive Goodness.
