Realizing Where My Heart Lies

Never Ending Love Story

Growing up I always feared,
That no one would accept me just for me.
I thought I'd live my whole life through,
With nobody ever near.

God brought me here to find you Nate,
When I needed you the most.
You are deffinately a God-sent gift,
Though most would say it's fate.

At first all that I knew you for,
Was a guy that made me smile.
A kid that didn't run away,
When my heart and mind were torn.

Of course, now I can understand,
How much more than that you are.
You're my one and only, my truest love;
The reasons? Countless as the sand.

When we first met, my heart was full,
For love of someone we both knew.
I'm glad that things are different now,
It really took it's toll.

I'm sorry that I was so blind,
To the most obvious of facts.
When I'm looking for someone to love,
You're the person I always find.

I know that it's not what you want.
You're looking for something more.
But for me, what I've found is eternally there.
That's the thing I've always saught.

You hear about people who say they're in bliss,
Because there's someone by their side.
But two monthes from now it'll all be gone,
Leaving only heartbreak and a wish.

When I think about us I see so much more,
In the closeness that we share.
It's so much a part of who I am,
It'll never leave my core.

To me you're my own Superman!
My own personal man in arms.
I could never live without your love,
It does more than all else can.

You're as much a part of who I am,
As I have ever been.
So never leave me, you have half my heart.
Even if it needs a mend.

I hope you know that I really mean,
All that I've said to you before.
I love you and I always will.
More than any love I've ever seen.

I feel our story has just begun.
There's a lot waiting ahead.
And through it all I'll be by your side,
Making my life bright as the sun.

I send you all my love I could ever send,
I hope you get it all.
Because I'm always here, forever more.
We're together till the end!

		beautifully written poem,its sounds like you and him have went through alot of different fazes,friendship,love,longing,i think you are both extremely lucky to have each other
