| How do parents see there Kids? |
I was sitting at a work function when the phone goes off, it's a friend from my soccer club asking if I could come and assist him for the 2 hours at rooball(soccer for 8 and under) it goes for, I said Ok.
When I get there I help set up the games for all the kids and the moment the first kid shows up the nerves kick in a little, I mean I coach a kids U/14's soccer team and thought how hard could it be coaching 8 year olds.
Well didn't I get a shock, I call them over so we can start and they all raced over and stopped looking all innocence and a look like 'ok you better not waste our time we want to have some fun'.
So we started and things went I thought OK for my first time but what amazed me was the different types of kids I observed from such a small group of 13:
1.We had the future bully kid pushing others around
2.The Kids that tell on everyone
3.The normal kids who just wanted to play, no complaints just played and had fun
4.The go getters who got into everything and did they're best
5.The shy kids who were a bit stand offish little afraid to get in there and have ago but with time and confidence building they will
6.The last one I don't no what to call them(phsyco might be a bit strong a word) who are running around having fun but saying 'let's bite their heads off'
I don't have kids, I want them but the question I want to know is:
How do you as a parent see your kid?
cause they can be so funny at times the things they come up with is just classics you can laugh so hard at times, and the innocence look do they just know how to use it cause it must get them out of trouble so much.
just curious
