 Losing My V's

well no, i havent lost my virginity, that happened a long time ago...but what i have been thinking a lot about lately is about my values, what are my values? what are the importance of values? what values should i have? you know...the usual...

a life without values wont get you anywhere, i know that

the problem is, i dont know what my values are, i have a few, like i wouldn't steal and i wouldn't cheat on someone but are they real values? can values be that easy, or are they supposed to be deeper and more meaningful?

i want to make myself a better person, and affect the people around me in a more positive way and i figured that having values is like a set of personal rules that keep you sane...they're important, and if you have good values, you have a good life and so do the people that you affect.

so people tell me what you think are good values to have, what values you have and any of your thoughts that you wish to share. because i've been up for some long nights just thinking about this...lame...i know...

byyyeee :)

My leading value has always been not to perpetrate or tolerate voilence against women, children or anyone who cannot defend himself. I've done a lot of things I'm not proud of but I have always stood by that.

Good Evening Ramjet!
I was browsing past blogs and came across this one and it intrigued me. You asked for an opinion on values and I have to say I'm shocked that you only received one response. It seems everyone has an opinion on the subject but no one wants to share when someone is actually serious about wanting to live well. Hmmm...
I'm a Christian so my value system comes from God. Without God there is no absolute right or wrong and we can all decide for ourselves how to live. I think that's very dangerous because as our culture changes and our views get more liberal, more and more becomes acceptable. Just my 2 cents... Take care...
