I am very upset right now.  I just got an email from a member of my family that she recently lost the man that she loved.  They were older and I understand that these things happen, however, I was not told by my own family about it.  Perhaps they did not know, but I cannot imagine that my father was not informed.
I don't know...I feel like such an ass that I was not there for her, or at least sent a card.  My extended family has not been close since the death of my Grandmother, maybe even a little before that, but hey, we should be there for each other in our times of need and loss.  What the hell is wrong with my Dad that he doesn't even call his aunt once in a blue moon?  Hell, his sister lost her 19 year old daughter a few years ago, and I don't think he ever even bothered to call her to see how she was doing!  WTF!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
