| What? Snow? Oh MY GOD!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Okay, so i live here in PA and I just looked out the window to see that it is snowing, very mildly, but snowing, I think they are just calling for a dusting or so...but anyway, it just reminded me of how IDIOTIC people around here get about the white stuff!
I can just about guarantee you that right now the Wal-Mart and grocery store parking lots are filled, with those FREAKS that feel the need to stock up on supplies, like they will be stuck in their homes for MONTHS waiting for the snow to melt....yeah, this is the 21st century, it's called a plow...yeah, I bet you have even SEEN one!
Anyway, and what do these "people" (I use the term loosly) stock up on? BREAD and MILK! Now, I have seen these people do it, they will get into a fist fight over the last loaf of bread right before the snow....I don't freakin get it....What, you can't just eat a freakin can of chef boy r dee? WTF! These people, I swear, will not use this bread and milk...people with no kids who have probably not had a glass of milk in months, will go buy a gallon of the shit...and when the snow is cleard(the same day as it fell mind you) this milk will sour in the fridge until the next snowfall, at which point they will go buy more...
Then everyone feels the need to drive like 1 mile per hour, unless they own a 4 wheel drive, then they drive FASTER than normal, even on the ICE....apparently no one told them that 4 wheel drive does NOT help on the ice, just in the snow! Wow, I hate this about PA.....sometimes I feel like the only sane person in the STATE!!!!

Yeah we don't have that problem here in Texas. We get sleet and holy gosh people flip the eff out.

ha ha in the uk, at the first sign of snow the trains all slow if not get cancelled?!?! the motorways get shut and EVERYBODY PANICS!!!!
well i might be exagerating a tad lol but the wether might be crappy here but we don't get much snow :( like today
rain rain wind and rain

I'm guilty of stocking up on the groceries if I know that a snow storm is on the way. BUT I live 30 miles from the store and if it snows much and the wind blows ( which it usually does ) the roads will drift shut, sometimes bad enough that a 4 wheel drive can't even make it out and towns to far away to take a mule ! ;-)
