 Patience, where are you?
Patience…it’s a virtue.

Sigh, this seems to be a virtue that I struggle with constantly. (among many, many others). Some days I have an abundance of patience resource and then others…not so much. I am currently in the notsomuch.

I wish, somewhat like a migraine coming on, that I could have an advance warning of when this time was going to set in. And before anyone mentions the dreaded P to the M to the S, yes that does play into it, but sometimes it’s there without any physical reason.

I know some people, a few, that seem to have a never-ending supply of patience, a never ending supply of graciousness, and seem to be just generally pleasant people to be around.

I am not one of those people.

However, I am willing to learn! Teach me patience, teach me how to harness the aggravation and the annoyance and turn it into a positive! I want to make lemonade out of the lemons, and I believe that I am willing to make improvements. However, although the spirit seems willing, the flesh is weak. If anyone has any advice, tricks, suggestions….well…let’s just say I’ll be waiting (patiently).

So, I need some good news and this is what I have today. According to a report, the peanut butter Girl Scout Cookies are safe to eat and are not involved in the salmonella recall. WooHoo!!

Thanks for reading….

YEAH FOR COOKIES!!!!

what your asking is as hard to teach as it is to learn. The fact you have the desire to do so is a big leap all on its own. When I have issues or I am getting so mad with a situation i just smile, then when someone asks me, why are you smiling? i just tell them, it's the only thing i got left that does not involve hurting someone, then they laugh and so do i and it seems to edge away the bad stuff. It's one small thing but maybe it will help

It sounds like a great thing to try! Thank you so much for sharing! I hope that practice and learning will help me develop this trait that I admire so much in others. :) I mean, at least it's Friday! I should be smiling anyway...

You come from a family me and Douglas up there belong:P You have as much patience as us...it's just the world, people and life wearing you down. And, maybe you have a strong fire sign and/or Aries component.

Cool pic.
