I guess I picked the wrong day to quit smoking...
I have literally been a smoker most of my life. I have never really considered seriously quitting before, and now, well, it may just be time to try. So, a few days ago, I picked today to begin my quest of attempting to see if I in fact could quit.

I think it is always good to test yourself and find out what you are made of. However, quitting smoking may be what does me in! I apologize, non smokers, but I really never had any desire to quit smoking, I am one of the few weirdos out there who actually enjoys smoking.

Okay, so it seems I have picked the day that is the number one stress day I have had in some time. I mean the accessory stress of my life is raining down, and add to that the fact that someone I care about picked this time as well to basically inform me through email that I am worthless and they want nothing to do with me anymore

Sigh. Okay, still haven’t smoked.

I have, however, eaten 100 salt and vinegar chips and 14 jolly ranchers.

It’s only been twelve hours. Can I make it? Can I keep this up? Is this really worth it?

Anyone else with potentially bad news, could you keep it until Tuesday? I can only deal with one devastating crisis per day.

On a something good note, this from my home state of Texas…..

"The Preciado family were holding a garage sale on Wednesday afternoon, when they heard screams coming from a nearby house. They saw smoke coming from a neighbor’s home and went running, where they found Josephina Vega, who frantically explained that her baby was still trapped inside the flames. Sergio Preciado, 16, began to kick-in the windows, and Sergio and his father rescued both Jospehina who had by that time collapsed, and her baby, who was trapped inside the house. Sergio received stitches on his leg, but was unharmed otherwise. Sergio and his family do not think of themselves as heroes, simply as neighbors helping out neighbors."

Hmm, I am sorry to learn of this factor;/...

I've already said plenty about the bad habit all my life and grown up with enough smokers. I guess it comes with the gig.

I am one of the fools who actually enjoys it! I have never been a self loathing smoker anyway. :) I'm going nuts!!
