It seems we live in a day and age where man’s heart is harder than the man-made stone of the encroaching concrete. Instead of thanking God for a disaster passing from our midst, we claim it as our just due. When a disaster does occur, we tend to shake our fists angrily at God. Hardly grateful when times are good, it seems our nature to be greedy for better and better.

Surely the Mysteries of Life are the grandest part of life. To know all would surely destroy life. It is like the human element of hope. To have nothing to hope for – nothing to attain or wish for – destroys the very element. To destroy the Mysteries of Life or even to put a scientific spin on them is akin to winning a game and calling it done, or to be bored in the 1st grade with a genius intelligence already. The Mysteries of Life are the wonderment to the child – the spirit that anything can happen and everything is magical.
