Roe, my son is getting to the point of filling out the applications too. Trying to find scholarships, I read a book called, "How To Go To College For Almost Free" by Ben Kaplan and thought it would be easier to get a second job than to go through the hoops required.

Wow - good posting roe! It is sad when users don't see or feel how their minds, health and lives are being eroded. Sort of like the frog placed in the tepid pot of water, never noticing anything wrong when the stove's fire slowly gets hotter and hotter over time. With time that frog dies...

In looking through your poetry, I think they're each enchanting and enthralling, deep and dreamy.
This one makes me think of the song, "Night" by Robin Trower, but maybe because of the title name similarity.

Thank you, roe. Years and years ago, I was a heavy participant on a few of the AOL "message boards" (forums of different topics) of which this seems a bit the same in that it is very addictive to read what everyone has to say and want to comment on each. Thus far, I'm finding this community...

My sentiments exactly... It is all very alarming. I have kids, the oldest a teenager, and have to say it is a tough job (and outrageously stressful to do a good job at it) in this day and age with the tide of decaying society against us. To see an inside look at their world is scary, knowing...

What a good posting. I'm with you on all you've said. There is hardly a day that goes by that I don't shed at least one tear for humanity, even when thinking about and researching the true pasts of this country and all of the innocent blood shed on our soil.
