Despite the recent wet weather, the hose-pipe ban is still in force and will be until 31st October, so you will still be liabel to a fine is you water your garden /wash your car, etc...
From 15th July there has been a hose pipe (watering) ban in Quillan and surrounds....
All watering/ car washing/ swimmingpool filling/ etc is banned between 08.00 and 20.00 on all 7 days a week. If you have your own source of water (a well or bore hole) then you can continue as before. BUT, if you draw water from the river or a spring, this is also banned....... between those hours.
So, if your garden needs watering, get up early, or water it late, or set up a watering system with a timer on it. Ditto filling or topping up the pool. And, let your car get dirty (or use a paid car wash)...
