Stupid cops...
So, I really really dislike about 95% of the cops I've ever come in contact with. (I can only think of 3 that I actually like, and they were all D.A.R.E. officers for me when I was younger).

I'm driving home today to finish getting ready for work (had to bring my brother to school first) and I see a cop standing under a bridge (it's raining) in the middle of the road. There's another one off to the side. Well, I kept right on going 45 MPH. Hello? It's the speed limit. Well, the stupid cop motions to me that I need to slow down. No I don't! I don't give a damn if you're checking brake tags because you want to give out more tickets. It is not my job to slow down so that your lazy ass can see if my brake tag is expired or missing (it's neither, by the way). It's the principle of the thing.

and that is why my morning is off to a *fabulous* start. I mean, it's not like I got pulled over or got a ticket or anything. I just can't stand cops.

Cops..........Hmmmmmmmmmmmm
I have had a major attitude about Cops myself lately, I mean more then attitude. I have actually gone out of my way to ask people if they have ever had a positive experience with one, or if a cop ever helped them when they needed help. The answer is no they don't help when they are needed and no they have not had any positive experiences with them.
Do you think cops are just people who got picked on in High School and now they want revenge??????
Something to ponder.

You might be on to something there.

State troopers (which is what that might have been) are generally even bigger *ssholes. And small town cops are horrible because they think they're hot stuff, or they're very bitter to be cops in a tiny little town.

yeah I got a ticket recently for going 10 over the speed limit, at 11:30 at night after driving in to town after a long weekend and I was so exhausted and the a-hole still gave me a ticket.. Grr..

And also in response to your comment on my blog I think that the reason they refuse to commit to being in support of gay marriage is because they probably don't feel like it's an issue that needs to be of importance in this election and it's not worth raising hell over, ya know? I just think that only civil unions with all the rights but not marriage is like "seperate but equal" all over again... whatev. I agree with you though on rather having a candidate who is for civil unions than nothing at all.
